Location

Behind an illusory wall near the Darkmoon Tomb bonfire in Anor Londo, accessed either by equipping the Darkmoon Seance Ring (which makes a blocking statue disappear) or after Gwynevere's illusion has been destroyed.

Access condition

Requires the Darkmoon Seance Ring, or Gwynevere's illusion already being broken, to reach his fog door.

Death or hostility conditions

Becomes hostile and permanently breaks the covenant if the player enters his fog gate at all (member or not), or if the player destroys Gwynevere's illusion. Once hostile, the player is expelled from the covenant, can no longer kneel at his fog door, and the Lady of the Darkling (his guard) also turns hostile as a consequence.

Keeps selling if hostile survives

Dialogue progression

Grants covenant membership, formally inducting the player as a Blade of the Darkmoon tasked with hunting the enemies of the Lords. His defeat (via the fog-gate encounter) triggers Domhnall of Zena to begin selling the Moonlight armor Set. Destroying Gwynevere's illusion dispels the sunlight over all of Anor Londo, leaving it in permanent twilight.
