How the Ledger handles evidence

Evidence labels

Primary in-game observation · Community testing · Third-party research · Sovereign-confirmed · Third-party claim (unverified) · Derived calculation · Unresolved.

Sovereign-confirmed & unverified third-party claims

Sovereign-confirmed entries are first-hand observations reported directly by this project from its own in-game session -- the single highest-trust tier used here. Third-party claim (unverified) entries sit at the opposite end: a conclusion reported by someone else with access to independently analyzed game data, relayed to this project as a verdict rather than as raw data, and never independently confirmed. This project deliberately did not view the underlying source-restricted files behind that claim. Both tiers are rare and always labeled individually on the record where they appear.

Public-release hygiene

The public package excludes game binaries, unpacked game archives, official art/audio, verbatim flavor text, private research manifests, exploit/duplication research, and source-acquisition tooling. Numerical and mechanical records retain provenance and uncertainty where available.

Important limitation

The Ledger does not invent missing numbers. Calculations based on approximations are labeled as such, and route/planner outputs do not claim optimality unless the underlying dataset establishes it.

Independence

Mimic's Ledger is an independent fan reference and is not affiliated with or endorsed by FromSoftware or Bandai Namco Entertainment.
